Connie Crawford's Obituary
Connie Louise Wright was born October 27, 1959 in Big Lake, Texas to Helen Louise and Alvin Dale Wright. She attended Eagletown High School in Oklahoma.
Connie was a member of Jay Valley Baptist Church of Longview for many years. On June 14, 2012 she married the ‘love of her life’, Russ Crawford. She worked most of her adult life as business office manager for various nursing home and rehabilitation facilities in East Texas. Connie loved her family and friends, hunting, fishing and all things outdoors. Connie was an excellent markswoman and a proud member of the A & L Hunting Club of Avinger, Texas. Connie and Russ loved to spend time with family and friends and enjoying the great outdoors.
Connie is survived by her loving husband, Russ Crawford of Longview, Texas; her mother Helen Smith of Haworth, Oklahoma; her brother Robert Dale and wife Lavonna Wright of Lockesburg, Arkansas; her sister Donna and husband Billy Dorsey of Haworth, Oklahoma; her favorite nephew Blake and wife Scout Dorsey of Haworth, Oklahoma; her two precious great nieces Shadda and Suede Dorsey of Haworth, Oklahoma; along with numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Dale Wright and step-father, Robert Smith.
The family will accept friends on Monday, May 1, 2023, Between 6 and 8 PM at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. Chapel service will be held at Rader Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 10 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Campground Cemetery in Winthrop, Arkansas. Family friend, Tommy Brock, will officiate the services.
