Funeral services for Columbia ?Woody? Woodlief, 93, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2005, at Unity Missionary Baptist Church, Longview with the Reverend Ray Williams officiating. Burial will be in Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Thursday, October 6, in Longview.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 9, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Woodlief was born July 16, 1912 in Evansville, Indiana to Albert and Sophia Clark Woodlief. She was a retired practical nurse. She was a former president of her local Neighborhood Crime Watch Association and a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Woodlief was preceded in death by her husband Jack.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Bessie Turner and Betty Perdue both of Longview, Doyle Woodlief and Dorothy Keck both of Gilmer, and Jackie Gladden of Longview; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
