Clyde Franklin Traylor's Obituary
Funeral services for Clyde "Frank" Traylor, 85, of Longview will be on Wednesday morning October 13, 2010 at 10 A.M. at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview with Pastor Rita Sims officiating, burial will follow after at Rosewood Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. October 12, 2010 at Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mr. Traylor passed away Saturday morning October 9, 2010 at a local Longview hospital. Clyde Franklin Traylor was born on October 9, 1925 in Freeport, Texas to Albert Sydney Traylor and Mary Harriet Martin. He was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and joined the U.S. Navy in 1943 serving during World War II and transferring to the U.S. Marine Corp before being discharged in 1946. He worked for Hudson Engineering Corporation transferring to Longview before working for Texas Eastman Kodak Company in the personnel department before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Longview Masonic Lodge.
Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Traylor. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Billie Marie Traylor; son, Dennis Franklin Traylor; and his sister, Helen Jordan of Lake Arthur, Louisiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Winterfield United Methodist Church.
