Services for Clyde E. Stuart , 91, of Longview will be 10 am Wednesday at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at the Grange Hall Cemetery at Marshall. Mr. Stuart died Friday evening at a local care facility.
He was born May 23, 1918 at Jefferson, Texas to Artice K. and Mary Aillie Carter Stuart. Clyde attended Texas A & M University and was a retired Contract Specialist for the Soil Conservation Service of the United States Department of Agriculture. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Stuart and a brother, Raymond Stuart and is survived by his wife, Adele of Longview; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Bill Brandt of Dillsburg, PA, Janet and Chuck Renshaw of Harrisburg, PA, and Jean and Bryan Wall of Sugarland, Texas; grandchildren, William and Amity Brandt, Chad, Keith, and Kyle Renshaw, and Andrew and Kristen Wall; brother, Russell Stuart of Paris, Texas; sisters, Myrtis Lemmon and Mary Kathryn Collier of Odessa, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon 5 to 7 pm.
