Clyde Donald Bolton
Funeral services for Clyde Donald Bolton, 74, of Hallsville will be held at Ten O'clock AM Monday March 29, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Hallsville with Reverend David Massey and Reverend John Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Bolton passed away Thursday March 25, 2010 in Hallsville.
He was born July 23, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles Franklin, Sr. and Dovie Garsee Bolton. He had lived in the Hallsville area for the past forty years. He retired from R. G. LeTourneau Co. after 30 years as a Superintendent. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hallsville where he served as a Deacon and was in the Choir and drove the bus for Senior Adults.
He is survived by his wife Susie Bolton of Hallsville, daughter, Angela Wayt and husband Larry, son , Donald Bolton and wife June three grandchildren, Christopher Wayt and wife Sherry, Jennifer Guillory and husband Daren, Shanda Bolton, three great-grandchildren, Jackson and Kate Guillory and Thomas Wayt, sister, Betty Severa and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Dovie Bolton and brother Charles Bolton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday March 28, 2010 from 4pm-6pm.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church Hallsville.
