Although words will never truly express how amazing Clint was, I will do my best. As said by so many others, Clint was an unbelievable person. No matter how close you were to him, or how little you knew him, everyone still says the same things: Clint was the funniest, kindest, and most loving and compassionate person any of us have known. He had a zest for life that everyone has seen and can appreciate.

I can imagine how great of a coworker he was, I have seen how great of a friend he was to all, heard from Clint time and time again about how much he loved his parents, brothers, grandparents,and extended family, and could feel how much he loved me and I how much I love him.

He has taught me so much about how to love another person and how it feels to be truly loved by the most amazing person this world has known. I am forever grateful and completely honored to be the lucky one to be with Clint. Although it was never my plan for our time together to end, God is the one that is in control. Even though my heart breaks everyday and the pain is so great, I have 100% faith that God made the best decision for Clint's life.

I will continue to pray everyday for strength, not soley for myself, but more so for your wonderful family and his friends. I love Clint's family so very much and hope that this will one day get a little easier for us all.

I DO NOT KNOW YOU, CLINT MICHAEL STRAIT; HOWEVER I TOO LOST MY SON THIS PAST AUGUST AND IF I MAY BE ALLOWED TO SEND YOU BLESSING AND HOPE, MANY FRIENDS TO HELP IN THIS TIME OF NEED. THEY ARE SO NEEDED, FAMILY ALSO. HE SOUNDED SO WONDERFUL, I WISH I HAD KNOW THIS LOVELY YOUNG MAN. I moved to Spring Hill in the 8th grade, and moving to a new place is not always easy. Clint was always so nice to me. It's easy to see how much he was loved. I'm sorry for your loss, and I pray that each day gets a little easier.

We were so very sorry to find out about Clint and just wanted to let you know that we will keep all of you in our prayers. I remember all 3 of your boys and my son playing as young kids in Spring Hill since we lived across the street from each other. Clint would just come on in the house and look for Michael and we thought that was so funny about him..God Bless you all... Knowing Clint was such a privilege, truly the most genuine person many of us know. I was lucky enough to be able to make a fishing trip with Clint a couple of weeks back, and was definitely one of the best weekends I have had in the past few years. Clint was more than a buddy, he was a friend. Even to the people he didnâ??t know. I could type all night about the memories, and the good times. He was loved and will be missed more than words can express. I love you man, see you when I get there.

Clint was more then just a roommate, he was the best friend I've ever known. I was closer to him then I was with any other person in this world. I have endless memories of us fishing, hunting, playing golf, going out on the town, barbecuing, and especially just sitting in our living room talking. I will forever cherish these memories. When I think of Clint I will hold my head high in the knowledge that I knew a person so remarkable. When I speak of Clint I will speak with pride because I was truly honored to be his friend. Clint never met a stranger and people naturally gravitated towards him for good reason. He left a lasting impression on anyone he met because of his zest for life.
Clint was as happy in the weeks prior to his passing then he had ever been. He had told me so on many occasions including a recent golf game and BBQ night on our back porch. I find solace in the fact that Clint was at peace spiritually and emotionally when he left us. Clint is irreplaceable as a friend and a person. I will never forget his smile and his laugh so long as I live.
