Clifford L. Weaver's Obituary
Funeral services for Clifford L. Weaver, “The Candy Man”, will be held at 3:00pm Saturday February 22, 2014 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson with Rev. Billy Paul Cain officiating. Burial will follow at New Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mr. Weaver passed away February 20, 2014 in Henderson. He was born November 22, 1925 in Teneha, TX to James Millard and Lena Mae Weaver. He served in the Navy and was a World War II Veteran. He retired from Armco Steel after 31 and one third years as a Supervisor.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; James Millard and Calvin Weaver, and a son; Ken Roney.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years; Faye Weaver, son; James Roney and wife Cathy Sue; daughter; Debra Rhea and husband Robert; daughter; Laura Gossett and husband Howard, daughter; La Donna Fress, 12 grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday February 21, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Maddox, Ronny Grandgeorge, Howard Gossett, Nathan Roney, Matt Pool, and Shabu Varghese.
