A celebration of life service for Claudia Blanche Nicholson, 71, of Longview will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 11, 2011 in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the funeral home. Mrs. Nicholson was born on April 11, 1939 in Denver, Co to Raymond and Opal Fuller. She passed away on April 7, 2011 in a local hospital. She was a member of Greggton Missionary Baptist Church but attended LifePoint Recently. She worked as a greeter for the Wal-Mart on 4th St. Mrs. Nicholson was a giver to many charities. She is survived her children, Mitchell Williams and wife Su, Carrie Rene'e Moore and husband Billy, Andy Nicholson and wife Vona, and Eddy Nicholson and wife Nicole; grandchildren, Jennifer, Felecia, and Stephanie Williams, Lindsey Burton, Mason Nicholson, Casey and Michelle Gill, Jeremy and Micah Moore, Josiah Williams, Jaynell Tipton; great grandchildren, Brayden Comer and Madison Tipton; sister, Peggy Flint; brothers, Donald Haynes and Stanley Haynes. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Horace Nicholson; son, Winston Williams; daughter-in-law, Laura Nicholson; grandson, Ryan Nicholson and brother, Ronnie Fuller.
The family would like to offer a special "thank you" to: the staff of Longview Regional Hospital; Heart'sWay Hospice; Mitzi Herbison and Rev. James Hall for the loving care and support during Mrs. Nicholson's journey to meet her heavenly father.
