Claude R.Works, beloved husband, father, and ?granddad?
Went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 8th in Longview.
Claude was born in Dierks, Arkansas on May 5, 1917. He moved to Longview in the twenties where he met and married Mildred Smith, his wife of 69 years. They had three sons, Jerry, Wayne, and Phillip. Claude was co-owner of BosWork Distributors for over forty years. He was an avid bowler, loved to travel, hunt and fish. Claude enjoyed time spent with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Works was preceded in death by his sons Jerry and Wayne. He is survived by wife, Mildred, son Phil and wife Bettye Works, daughter-in-law Mary Ann Works, grandchildren, Randy and Kim Works, Tim and Shirley Works, Daniel and Laura Jordan, Jason and Shell Works, Joseph and Tracy Works, Jeff Works and great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Rader Funeral Home at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 11, funeral services at the Rader Chapel at 1:00, followed by interment at Judson Cemetery.
