Claud T. Sypert
Claud T. Sypert passed away at Hospice of East Texas Homeplace in Tyler on February 6, 2007. He was born in Hallsville, Texas on July 24, 1915 to Taz L. and D. Ima Sypert. He was preceded in death by his wife D. Grace Sypert, his parents, his brother, Raymon Sypert and his sister, Ruth White.
Mr. Sypert is survived by his sisters: Louise Aposhian of Murray, Utah, Mildred Curry of Beaumont, Texas and Daisy Nell Trivette of Charlotte, North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sypert was a carpenter and had served as president of the carpenters union local. He was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army as a medical technician in the Asiatic Pacific Theater.
The family wishes to extend very special thanks to his nieces and their husbands, Lee and Bob Street and Barbara and Oran Howell, and to Hospice of East Texas for their loving care during his illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Friday, February 9th at Memory Park with Rev. David Reeder officiating. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. Thursday afternoon 5 to 7 PM.
