Clariece Grubbs Maxwell
Clariece Grubbs Maxwell, 95, of Kilgore went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 20, 2005 in Longview.
She was born October 11, 1909 in Oil City, Louisiana to John and Amanda Spradley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Kilgore, where she was very active in the ladies activities of the church, Bible School and was also active in the building of the church.
She is survived by her son, Freddie Grubbs of Hallsville, TX.; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Carl Sheldon of Kilgore, TX.; niece, Carlene Addie of Liberty City, TX.; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Grubbs, second husband, Curtis Maxwell, three children, six sisters and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at Ten O?clock am Wednesday June 22, 2004 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road with Reverend?s Paul Phillips, Bill Cox, Harry LaGrone, and Reverend Walter Magouyrk .
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 pm Wednesday at the New Prospect Cemetery in Jefferson, Texas under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday June 21, 2005 from 6pm until 8 pm.
