Memorial graveside services for Clariece Groomer, 68, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Grace Hill Cemetery with Herman Burrough officiating. Cremation and burial arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Saturday, April 26, in a Longview hospital.
Mrs. Groomer was born July 8, 1939 in Union, Oklahoma to Harry Conrad and Josephine Mae Ross. She had been a resident of Longview for the past 34 years. She was a homemaker and a former administrative secretary for the East Texas Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Groomer was a member of the Church of Christ.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 52 years; Dennis Groomer of Longview; daughters, Denise Leon of Savannah, GA, Tamara Frazier of Longview, Sherra Stanton of Plano, TX, and Rhonda Acker of The Woodlands, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer, Dennis Allen, Jess, Juston, Christine and Hannah; sister, Rita Attaway of Ft. Smith, AR; and several nieces, nephews and 2 aunts.
