Dr. Garrett was a professor at TWU Fashion and Textiles Dept. when I was a secretary there. I typed many dissertations and theses for her students, and she always trusted me to do them like she wanted them done. I visited her several times in her apartment on Bolivar street in Denton, and she would send me the nicest notes on Christmas cards. She was a talented, special lady extremely dedicated to her students. My condolences to her family and friends. I appreciate this opportunity to express my sympathy.##imported-begin##Lucie Chapman##imported-end##
