Clarence Irvin Graham
Funeral services for Clarence Irvin Graham, 87, of Longview will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview with the Reverend Shanna Suarez officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. He passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 at his residence in Longview following a prolonged illness.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Graham was born November 30, 1921 in Manville, Alberta Canada, the youngest of 5 children, to Irvin W. and Marjorie Pidcock Graham. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the 494th Heavy Bomb Group during WWII in the Pacific Arena. He had been a resident of Longview since 1950, moving from Brunswick, NJ, when he was transferred by Sun Oil, Mid Valley Pipeline. He was a manager of oil movements and retired after 43 years service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Elks Lodge, the Veterans of Foreign War in Palestine, NJ, the Longview Jaycees and the Longview Men's Bowling Association. He served as the secretary of the All Employee Men's Bowling League for 40 years. Mr. Graham was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald James Graham.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Graham of Longview; son, Richard Graham of San Carlos, CA; daughters, Patricia Law of Dallas and Kelly Bunt of Longview; Grandchildren, Nicole Bernius of Plano, Christin Najera of Tyler, and Samantha and Alexandra Chang-Graham of San Carlos, CA; and great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Zachary Bernius of Plano.
