Clara Ruth Doneghue's Obituary
Clara Ruth Doneghue went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2002. She was born on February 26, 1918 in Henderson, Kentucky to Milton and Cordia Waite. Clara was married to Frank Doneghue for 36 wonderful years before he was taken home to heaven. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Evansville, IN where she previously resided. Clara moved to Longview in 1995 to be cared for and close to her special granddaughters, Donna Jennings and Kristin Barnhart. She resided in The Clairmont Nursing Home for the last 3 years.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Ruby Schmidt and Goldie Fraser. She is survived by two sons, Donald R. Pentecost of Shertz, TX and Thomas L. Pentecost of Lincolnton, NC.
She is also survived by a daughter, Emily Adams of Crossville, IL and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and other family and friends.
Memorial services will be 10 AM Saturday at the Rader Funeral Home conducted by Ritchie Hamm of Pine Tree Church of Christ at the Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, Longview, TX followed by a graveside service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville, IN. under the direction of Pierre Funeral Home of Evansville, IN.
