Clara Stapp Keasler's Obituary
Clara Stapp Keasler went to be with the lord in the early hours of Monday morning at the age of 104. Services for Mrs. Keasler will be held at Hallsville First Baptist Church at 2pm on Thursday, September 11. The family would like to greet friends and family at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Wednesday from 6-8.
Clara was born in Winnsboro TX on August 1, 1910 to parents George and Laura Wheeler. Clara loved spending time working in her yard, and making a lush lawn, and tending to the flowers and peppers that she would grow in the garden. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and highly active in her church. Mrs. Keasler also would sow and quilt, as well as fish with her family.
Clara is preceded in death by her loving husbands, Roy Stapp, and Bassett Keasler; as well as both of her parents, George and Laura Wheeler; and her daughter Margaret Joyce Walker. Those left to cherish her memories include her son, RC Stapp; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
