Christopher Michael Grimsley's Obituary
Christopher Michael Grimsley, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, friend to many and loved by all was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on August 9, 1982 to Harvey Wayne Grimsley and Pamela Jean Carpenter-Raatz. Christopher was welcomed by his Heavenly Father and reunited with his Granddaddy and PawPaw on May 20, 2023.
Christopher resided in Haltom City, Texas with his wife and children. He fiercely loved God and spending time with family and friends. Christopher loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns and was an avid fan of both. He loved golf and getting to spend time on the course with friends and family. Christopher loved to read in his spare time.
Christopher was proceded in death by his maternal grandfather Charles Edward Carpenter, and his paternal grandfather Joe Wayne Grimsley, and stepfather George Everette Raatz.
He is survived by his wife Carly Suzanne Grimsley, his children Tinsley 12, Sadie 10 & Scarlett 7, his mother Pamela Jean Carpenter-Raatz, father Harvey Wayne Grimsley, his brother and sister-in-law Jonathan Douglas Grimsley & Monica Sue Grimsley and their children Jr., Chloe & Tanner, his sister and brother-in-law Amy Elizabeth Llanes and Justin Ross Llanes, and their children Addison and Xander, his sister and her fiancé Sarah Breann Grimsley and Blake Evans Krumm, his maternal grandmother Laura Carpenter, his paternal grandmother Glennys Jean Grimsley, stepbrother and wife Jeffery Raatz and Jennifer Raatz and their child Jentry Raatz as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Grace Creek Church in Longview Texas with a memorial service immediately following at 2:00pm. The family would like to extend an invitation to friends and family that would like to share in the celebration to honor Christopher’s life.
