Chloe Jane May's Obituary
Funeral services for Chloe Jane Little May, 67, of Henderson, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Tyler with Pastors Victor Willmann and Arthur Hill officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday at the Lakewood Memorial Park in Henderson with Rader funeral home of Henderson in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. May died Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler.
She was born in Henderson December 3, 1939 to Virgil and Ruby Rains Little. At the age of three the family moved to Pasadena area where Chloe lived until 2002 when she moved back to Henderson. While in the Pasadena area, she owned and operated a flower shop and was a certified caterer.
She was a very active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, member and past president of Lutheran Womens Missionary League, member and past president of the Post Service Womens Auxiliary, member of the Red Hatters Society and former member of the Nifty-Fiftys. She was also a member of the Henderson Art League and the Rusk County Poetry Society.
Mrs. May was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Larry Lamar Little, and a sister-in-law Crystal Howard Little.
Surviving is her husband, Norman May of Henderson; daughters, Janna Cheek and husband Pat of Tulsa, OK., Elizabeth Sawyer and husband Tim of Magnolia, TX., and Paula Carnagey and husband David of Tecumseh, NE.; brother, John Paul Little and wife Karen of Henderson; grandchildren, Amanda, Aaron, Shonna, Patrick, Rachael, Misty, Melanie, Kimber, Katherine, Jennifer, and Hanna; great grandchildren, Jordan, Jared, and Jillian.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be the Prime Timers of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
