Chet Miller's Obituary
Funeral services for Chet Miller, 40, of Anchorage, Alaska, will be 2 PM Friday at Trinity Baptist Church, Lakeport, with Reverend Gary Orr and Reverend John H. McKay officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the Rader Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
Mr. Miller died Sunday due to an automobile accident in Sterling, Alaska.
Chet was born May 12, 1964 in Jackson, Mississippi and had lived in Anchorage, Alaska since July of this year. He was employed in medical equipment sales. Chet graduated high school in Richardson, Texas, and had lived in Arlington, TX, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Denver, Colorado. He was an avid sportsman, hunting, fishing and hiking, and worked as a hunt-ing guide. He served his country from 1985 to 1988 in the US Army Rangers, 82nd Airborne.
He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years: Lori Myers Miller of Anchorage; Parents: Chester and Blanche Miller of Lake Cherokee; Sister: Melanie Miler and Husband John of Aubrey, TX; Grandmother: Ersal Miller of Longview; Uncles: Ira G. Pope and wife Delores of St. Louis, MO and Robert M. Miller and wife JoNell Miller of Lexington, TN; Aunts: Venie Watkins of Tillaloba, MS and Beverly Crosby of Jacksonville, Arkansas, nephews: Andy, Matt, Zach, Al and Sam; niece: Chloe and great nephew: A. J. and several cousins.
