Chester Lee Stroman's Obituary
July15, 1939 - February 20, 2024
Our devoted Father went to heaven to be with his Lord and Saviour on February 20, 2024, after a lengthy illness. He was the owner of Stroman Auto Parts in White Oak for 34 years. There he met many people who quickly became lifelong friends, because Dad never met a stranger.
Our dad was the best provider his kids could hope for. He provided unconditional love, undivided attention, and an unfailing love for his family and for other people. He provided his children with an unblemished example of how to treat others, and to give to others even when you might not necessarily have enough yourself. He provided us with an example of unfailing faith in God and lived that example to his very last day. He exemplified what a husband and father should be, and loved our mother, for their entire 64 year marriage.
Chester is survived by his three brothers: James Stroman, Roland Stroman and Robert Stroman, Two sister-in-laws: Rowena Stroman, and Joanne Stroman. His four sons: Kevin and his wife Melinda Stroman, Glenn Stroman, Gary and his wife Ethel Stroman, Timothy and his wife Karen Stroman, and one daughter, Kaylen and her husband Danny Medlin, fifteen grandchildren, and 21 great-grand children.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Tx, Services will follow at 10 a.m. at Rader Funeral Home.
