Cheryl Lee Canfield's Obituary
Cheryl Lee Canfield, 65, of Longview, Texas, completed her earthly journey and entered heaven on September 6, 2021. Visitation for Cheryl will be held from 6-8 pm, on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road Longview, Texas 75606. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 10:00 am with graveside service following at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2823 East Marshall Ave., Longview, Texas 75601.
Cheryl was born in Springfield, Illinois, to Glenn Canfield, Jr. and Beverly Joyce Brown on April 1, 1956. She was one of four children born to the couple. She lived in Syracuse, New York during her teen years and moved to Longview in 1972. She worked for Lupes Mexican Restaurant for 20 years.
Cheryl was also known as Momma Lee, Granny, and mom. She was very caring and loved to make people part of her family. She had a big heart and would give you the shirt on her back. She loved Elvis Presley and old school country music. He favorite time was dressing up Fifi. She always put family and friends first.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Canfield, Jr. and her brother, Glenn Canfield, III, and survived by her mother, Beverly Franks, and siblings Charisse Canfield Bodisch and spouse Robert, Derek Canfield and his spouse Veronica, and uncle John Canfield and his spouse Noralyn.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Angelina Garcia and spouse Jose, Tommy Arredondo and spouse Sylvia Hamilton, Racheal Thacker and spouse Dustin, Tony Kellum and spouse Melissa.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Julianna Almanza, Vanessa Almanza, Luis Garcia, Sara Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Carlos Arredondo, Jose Arredondo, Isaicc Ibarra, Kera Thacker, Joshua Thacker, Tony Kellum, Jr., Eric Kellum, Natalie Kellum, and great grandchild, Dalani Ford.
