Cherry Juanita Grigsby's Obituary
Cherry Juanita Grigsby, 83, of Longview passed away peacefully January 13, 2019 at her home in the presence of her loving family. She was born March 18, 1935 in Camden, LA to Floyd and Penny Smeltzer.
She retired from Longview Manufacturing Company after numerous years of service.
Cherry was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Gene Grigsby and son, Tommy Grigsby.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carla Allen of Longview, who lovingly, patiently and unselfishly cared for during her long illness with the help of her granddaughter, Julie Groves and husband Roger; grandsons, Randy Grigsby and Shane Grigsby and wife Kim; great grandsons, Austin, Brayden and Conner Grigsby; great granddaughters, Micayla Groves and Peyton Grigsby; special friend Sandra Broyles; and her caregiver, Patricia Jackson.
A private burial will be held at Harmony Hill Cemetery in Tatum. Family memorial services will be held at a later date.
