Cheron Singleton's Obituary
Cheron Lynn Singleton gained her wings to Glory on August 12, 2020 surrounded by her family. She bravely fought cancer and received her Heavenly Crown as she sprinted through the Pearly Gates into the waiting arms of her husband and Life-Long Love, Michael "Gene" Singleton. She has been eagerly awaiting this Glorious reunion for many years. In 2002, she secured her Faith in Jesus Christ her Savior at Macedonia Baptist Church in Longview after the passing of her husband in 2001 from Cancer at the young age of 51.

Her multiple accomplishments are on display in The Borden County Museum. She fought to hold on for the upcoming birth of her first great granddaughter Kinsley whom she talked about relentlessly. Her legacy of love, family and kindness will be extremely missed but will live on in the lives of the ones who call her “GiGi”.
Cheron is survived by her daughters and grandchildren; her brother Charles Billeck of Leakey Texas, brother-in-law Max Singleton and wife Sharon of Tyler Texas, Sister-in-law Patsy Lewis and husband Bill Lewis of Cypress, Sister-in-law Gayle Singleton of Artesia, New Mexico, cousin and pen pal Denise Willis of Kerrville Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank all staff at the Longview Cancer Center. She was grateful for her care and continually made sure it was known to her caregivers with her ever persistent “God Bless and Be Safe” parting words. In her last days, the professional and caring commitment of Heartsway Hospice brought relief and support to her family. Specifically, Stephanie Murphy, Lori Shaver, Toby Jones, Corrina Wright and Chaplin James Peoples whom brought comfort and reassurance in her last days.
A graveside service will be led by Radar Funeral Home at Rosewood Park Cemetery on Hwy 1844 in Longview Texas at 10:00 am on Monday, August 17, 2020. Pallbearers include Taylor Jay, Cody Fregia, Kevin Hasler, Dylan Bailey and Shonna Singleton.
Mom, we hope the tea is sweet, the brownies are chocolate and you have enough sugar and creamer for your coffee. This is certainly not goodbye, but see you later.
