Charlotte Ramona Peek Burns' Obituary
Charlotte Ramona Peek Burns, 67, of White Oak, passed away September 27, 2017 at her home in White Oak, Texas.
Charlotte was born in Mount Pleasant to Edgar and Ethel Peek on December 19, 1949. She went to Mount Pleasant High School and graduated in 1968. She was a talented and prolific artist whose work will endure forever. She was renowned for her singing voice and was an inspiration to her family and friends. She adored her many animals and spending time with her family.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Ethel and sister-in-law Janie Peek.
Charlotte is survived by her husband Robert Larry Burns; three brothers, Hubert, Ben and Ron Peek; son Bryan Colvin; son and daughter-in-law Michael & Christy Colvin; daughter Natalie (Colvin) Rogers; and grandchild PVT Jon Taylor Rogers.
Services will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at noon. Visitation will be held at 11 am until noon prior to the service. Burial will follow at White Oak Cemetery.
