Charlotte Ann Woods Sorensen
Memorial services for Charlotte Ann Woods Sorensen, 55, of Longview will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home. At her request, cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home, Longview. She passed away Sunday, December 26, at her residence in Longview.
Charlotte was born September 3, 1955 in Longview to Frank and Mary Jane Woods. One of Charlotte's greatest accomplishments was to have finished her schooling as a nurse, and she was proud to be Registered Nurse at Longview Regional Medical Center.
After her bout with breast cancer, Charlotte devoted her time to the Hope Breast Cancer Support Group. She found great joy in helping others with the disease. However, the greatest joy in her life was the relationship she had with her daughters.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Melissa Sorensen of Longview, Rachael Sorensen of Coppell, and Hannah Sorensen of Austin and their father, Dale Sorensen of Longview; and her mother, Mary Jane Woods of Longview.
