Charlie Eckel I knew through his role as father of Kristina, and his kind hospitality and warmth at the time of her wedding to Oscar, which I was privileged to attend. He and Fay were so generous and kind. Also on his visit to Kristina at other occasions. I am very sorry for Fay and Kristina's loss and that of all of the family, of such a wonderful person. Charlie was a fellow prison minister with an infectious smile and a heart as big as Texas. He will be missed but not forgotten. I have no doubt he is with our Lord.

What a wonderfully fantastic man of God. He was filled with joy and always made me feel happy when I was around him. That contagious smile and great big HOWDY! I remember him being so supportive of me and whatever role I had to play as an ACTS team member on a retreat. Such great memories of him. God truly blessed me by having our paths cross.
