Charles Kenton Taylor's Obituary
Charles Kenton Taylor, 68, of Longview, was born on February 20, 1951 in Longview, Texas to Murral and Julia Taylor. He went home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2019. Charles worked for many years as a welder at Trinity Industries. He never met a stranger and loved visiting with people. Mr. Taylor was active in NA and celebrated 25 years of sobriety. He loved encouraging people in NA and even took his message inside the prison system to spread hope and encouragement to inmates. Charles loved animals, especially chickens. He enjoyed traveling with his family, especially to Monterey Bay, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandson, Matthew Otis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debra; his kids, Dawn and Joe Taylor, Jerry, Frankie, and Stephanie; grandkids Isaac, Desiree, Elisha, Taylor, Oliver, Madyson, and Camden; brother, Paul; and sister, Julie Gaston.
