JUST A FEW WEEKS AGO WE TALKED ABOUT "THE LITTLE RED SHOES" YOU BOUGHT ME WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRL AND GRANDMA DUNN SAID I DIDNT NEED THEM AND YOU TOOK ME TO GET THEM ANYWAY REAL LATE IN THE NIGHT. WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MEMORIES. I AM NOW 35 AND STILL REMEMBER IT VERY WELL. THANK YOU FOR BEING SO SWEET TO ME. I WILL MISS YOU ALWAYS GRANDPA DUNN. Your family is in my prayers and thoughts, and I know that God will help you through this time of mourning. I only met Mr Dunn 1 time and that was through David we went to PJC and ETSU at the same time. David always spoke fondly of his father and was proud of his accomplishments and the fact that he still made time for family. I have to believe that as a former postmaster St Peter has put Mr Dunn to work already in the prayer receiving department! He was called home because his work here was done and his skills were needed elsewhere. Please take comfort that his children loved, respected, and looked up to a great man.
