Charles R. "Chuck" O'Neal Jr.'s Obituary
On February 7, 2017, the pearly gates of Heaven opened and welcomed Charles Robert “Chuck” O’Neal, Jr. to his heavenly home. He was born January 23, 1947, in Gainesville, TX. to Charles Robert O’Neal, Sr. and Peggy Jean O’Neal. He was a member of the Gainesville Community Church along with his family.
After High School, he enlisted in the U. S. Army. He married the love of his life, Beverly Martin on July 19, 1972. He owned O’Neal’s Printing in Longview for over 40 years and retired in 2007.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles R. O’Neal, Sr; and his beloved wife Beverly O’Neal.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Peggy Jean O’Neal of Garland, TX; sister, Peggy Robertson of Forney, TX; 2 nieces, Ashley Stewart and husband Todd of Plano and Laura Archie and husband Ryan of Dallas; 1 nephew, Isiah Robertson, who is currently enlisted in the U. S. Air Force, stationed in Fayetteville, NC; 1 great nephew and 1 great niece; his daughter, Michelle Holcomb and husband Billy of Jacksonville; 4 grandchildren, Brittan O’Neal of Longview, Cheyanne Holcomb of Jacksonville, Sierah Holcomb of Overton and Harli Holcomb of Houston; 3 great grandchildren, Kolt Holcomb, Sage Holcomb and Aydan Holcomb.
He was an amazing dad and awesome PawPaw. He will be missed, but we know he is in Heaven with our Lord walking down the streets of gold hand in hand with his love, Beverly.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
