Mr. Navy was such a kind man. He coached my son Barry Poss in St. Mary's boys basketball and was so fair and encouraging.
Scott, so sorry for your loss. Your father was always so good to my son Barry when he played basketball at St. Mary's. He was so very patient and kind. Prayers for you and your family.

Oh, my goodness, Scott Novy, I thought your Dad was going to out live us all! I am so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know everyone in the family but I got to know Mr. Novy very well during the many years I worked for Joe Bailey Allen. They were oil and gas buddies and we usually saw Mr. Novy at least once a week and sometimes more. Mr. Novy knew that Mr. Allen was the attorney who inspired me to go to law school. After I graduated from law school and came back to Longview, I would occasionally run into Mr. Novy. The standing joke from Mr. Novy was, "Are you doing oil and gas law?" And, we would laugh and talk about Mr. Allen. Mr. Novy was loved by so many and we will all miss him. My prayers are with each and every one of you. Vicki K. Haynes
