Beyond his professional achievements, Charles was known for his dedication to the people he loved. He enjoyed spending his free time meeting friends and family for coffee, watching various sports (he especially loved traveling to watch High School Football games), riding his bicycle on numerous trails around town, embarking on spontaneous road trips, and secretly performing random acts of kindness.
