Charles Lynn Hill's Obituary
Graveside services for Charles Lynn Hill, 65, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Rosewood Park with Chaplain Keith Lybrand officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Hill passed away Friday afternoon in a local nursing home.
Charles was born on January 27, 1948 in Wichita Falls, TX to Mahlon and Iris Hill. He loved cycling and enjoyed sharing that hobby with his son and step-sons. He also had a great love and appreciation for the outdoors and loved spending time outside, especially at Lake Cherokee. He was a great dad and role model, and loved working the crossword puzzles in the Dallas Morning News. He along with his wife, Deanna Hill, owned Jacks Natural Foods and loved being there at the front door to greet the customers. Charles was also retired from Halliburton where he worked for 30 years.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna Hill of Longview; his son and daughter-in-law, Charles Lynn Hill, JR and Tiffany of Longview; his step daughter Jennifer Moore and her husband Seanor; his step-sons John Bode, Steven Freeman and Brian Freeman; his granddaughter Savannah Moore; and his grandson Connor Hill.
