Chuck was my uncle-in-law, but I couldn't have loved him more had he been my brother.
I will always remember his wonderful laugh, the cheer, and happiness he brought not only to me but to all those that were fortunate to have known him.
The Christmas' I spent with Chuck and Nez will always be remembered and cherised. Watching Chuck's delight as Nez opened her presents was so tender and heart warming. When Chuck opened his presents it was with sheer glee and brought laughter and more joy to Christmas.
Another memory I shall never forget was the roses he gave to Nez on their annivsary-one for each year. He would always take her out for diner and "surprise" her with the roses. Of course, Nez always acted surprised and he loved it. It was just one of their special games played out with love.
Chuck loved people and they loved him in return; he entertained us for years.
But there was another side of Chuck that was, serious, compassionate, tender, interesting, protective and intelligent. I loved that Chuck as well.
I nicknamed him "My Jewish Mama" because of his protectiveness of me.
I will miss him terribly and pray to God that there will be others' like him. The world needs a lot of Chucks' to brighten our days, make us laugh, and bring us happiness.
However, there will never be another quiet like him because he was an original and none can completely replace him.
Goodnight, my very special Jewish Mama.##imported-begin##Yvonne Michaels and Ileene Kehn##imported-end##
