Memorial Graveside Services for Charles Harbordt, of Longview will be held at Two O?clock p.m. Friday May 28, 2004 at Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rick Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Harbordt passed away Sunday May 23, 2004 in Longview.
He was born August 12, 1915 in Monterrey, Mexico to George and Katherine Harbordt and they precede him in death. He was a retired Gas Field Superintendent for Exxon Oil Company. He had resided in Longview the past 24 years, but prior to living in Longview he resided in Nacogdoches, Texas for twenty years. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War 11 in the South Pacific. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and photography.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lydia of Longview, daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and William Goodrich of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Michael Harbordt of Lufkin, Texas; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to hospice.
