Charles Lindal Guinn's Obituary
Charles Lindal Guinn was born in Gilmer, TX. March 9, 1949 to parents Durand Guinn and Vivian Sikes Guinn. He passed away peacefully in Longview, TX, November 1, 2025 at the age, 76, with his devoted wife by his side. He attended Judson School most of his life and graduated from Longview, the Class of 67'.
In 1968, he married the love of his life, Brenda Covin. He joined the Air Force in 69', stationed in Italy serving 3 years as a morse code interpreter, returning home after his service. He started a 27 year long career at Eastman Chemical Company. After retiring in 2000, he did some traveling either working for trucking company's or him and Brenda traveling various places in the States delivering campers, Charles had numerous hobbies, camping, fishing, golfing, and enjoyed traveling. Dirt track racing was his main love, although he also loved traveling with his son, Bo, watching Sprint Car Racing.
He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior early on in life. He is preceded in death by his parents, and Brother, Troy Guinn. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving Wife Brenda, Son Bryan (Bo) Guinn, Daughter-in-Law Shannon, Sister-in-Law Saundra Guinn, Donna Payne, and Lanita Mitchell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 5:00-7:00PM at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday at 2:00PM, November 7, 2025 at Rader Chapel.
