Charles Franklin Bolton, JR's Obituary
Services for Charles F. ?Chuck? Bolton, JR, 74, of Hallsville will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Hallsville First Baptist Church with Dr. David Massey officiating. Burial will follow in Harris Creek Cemetery in Winona, Texas. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Bolton passed away Friday evening in a local nursing home. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Charles was born on December 18, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Franklin and Dovie Bolton. Mr. Bolton proudly served his country in the United States Army during Korea, and he was retired from LeTourneau where he worked as a Tool and Die Maker for 37 years. Mr. Bolton was also a long time member of Hallsville First Baptist Church, and served in various churches as a deacon for more than 50 years.
He was preceded in death in 2001 by his wife, Geneva.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ricky Charles Bolton, SR; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Michael and Brenda Bolton; brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Sue Bolton; sister, Betty Severa; grandsons, Bobby Gleason and Ricky Bolton, JR; and great-grandson Logan Gleason.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Hallsville First Baptist Church Building Fund, 201 N. Central St, Hallsville, Texas 75650.
