Charles Mitchell "Mitch" Forrester Jr.'s Obituary
Charles Mitchell Forrester, Jr. passed away March 4, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 16, 1937 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Charles and Inez Forrester. Mitch served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959 with a tour in Japan. In 1964, he married the love of his life, Peggy Morrison and had four beautiful children. He worked for Lockheed Martin for 32 years, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved his family fiercely.
Mitch is preceded in death by his parents Charles Mitchell Forrester, Sr. and Inez Forrester, as well as, his brother, James Owen Forrester. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Peggy Forrester. He is also survived by his devoted son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jenni Forrester; beloved daughter, Kimberly Forrester; loyal son-in-law and daughter, Bryan and Karen Parker and faithful son, Mark Forrester. Mitch leaves behind his brother-in-law and sister, Danny and Peggy Holder; nephew, Jeff and Stacy Holder and niece, Todd and Lacy Herndon and six great nieces and nephews. Mitch also leaves behind his precious grandkids who meant the world to him: Mason, Harley and Marshall Forrester, Aaron and Addisyn Parker.
He will be greatly missed by all his family.
Graveside services for Charles Mitchell Forrester, Jr. will be held at Hallsville Cemetery on Thursday, March 8 at 12:00. The family would like to invite family and friends to Rader Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 7, from 6 - 8.
