Charles Curtis Dukes' Obituary
Charles Curtis Dukes, age 75 of Henderson, died Sunday June 2, 2019 at his residence. No formal services are planned, cremation services are entrusted to Rader Funeral Home. Curtis was born February 24, 1944 in Rusk County to Dewey W. and Nora Dukes. He was a lifelong resident of Henderson and Rusk County, he was a retired pipe fitter in the construction business, and was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Sam Watts, and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Naomi Dukes of Henderson, children Melanie LePelley and husband Jeff of Henderson, Shane Dukes and Josh Dukes both of Henderson. Grandchildren Case Watts and wife Kara, Baylee LePelley, Brynlee LePelley, Sadie LePelley and Lilah LePelley, great grandchildren Brady Watts and Maverick Pool. He also survived by sisters Linda Tucker of Longview, and LaNell Paderson of Tennessee, brothers Glenn Dukes of Kountz, and Jake Dukes of Palo Verde, CA
