Charles Bruce Green
At sunrise September 10, 2012, Charles Bruce Green was lifted to be with his Lord. Charles was born in Waxahachie, Texas, November 28, 1956 to W. L. Dub and Sherrie Green. He was loved by his wife and soul mate Catherine Cathy Reneé Green, and daughters Laney Brooks Green and Kaycee Elizabeth Green.
Charles was a huge personality, entrepreneur and artist. His passions included enjoying God's creation, hunting, playing basketball, working on his farm, and ministering on both a local and international scale. He touched many lives beyond the boundaries of his family and planted the love of Christ in everyone he encountered.
All who knew Charles loved him including his wife, daughters, and parents; sister Laurie Green Westlake of Albuquerque, and brother Scott Green of Waxahachie; their spouses Steve Westlake and Deborah Green; in-laws Peggy and Bob Silvey, Cindy and Will Pierce and James Nash; aunts and uncles, multiple nieces, nephews and grandchildren; great nieces and great nephews; cousins and friends.
Memories will be shared at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, Longview, TX, Wednesday evening September 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Services for Charles will be 10:00 am Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Crossroads Community Church, 1400 East Loop 281, Longview, TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Crossroads Community Church of Longview and designated to the Storehouse Ministry, an outreach to the Longview community.
