Charles Boyd Killingsworth's Obituary
Funeral services for Charles Boyd Kil-lingsworth, 83, of Longview will be held at Noon Saturday, January 30, 2010 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Rita Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Killingsworth was born on January 28, 1927 in Longview to Boyd and Clyda Killingsworth. He passed away on January 28, 2010 in a Longview nursing facility. He was a welder and was employed by Trailmobile for more than 22 years and also worked as a me-chanic for York Pump before retiring with more than 10 years of service. A true out-doorsman, he enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing. He was a member of the Winterfield United Methodist Church. On April 4, 1947, he married Rozell McWhorter with whom he spent 54 years with. She preceded him in death in 2001. He is also preceded in death by his broth-er, Tommy Killingsworth.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronny and Joyce Kil-lingsworth, Ray and Mary Kate Kil-lingsworth; grandchildren, Matt Kil-lingsworth, Katie Abbott husband Curt, Kirby Killingsworth, Emily Junes and husband Matt; four great grandchildren, Colten Killingsworth, Caleb Abbott, Ka-telyn Abbott, and Anna Junes; as well as two sisters, Helen Elmore of Bilouxi, MS. and Doris Matthews of LaGrange, Texas.
