Charles Austin Strawn's Obituary
Funeral services for C. A. Strawn, 84, of Longview, will be 2 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Bryan Hunter and Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM.
Mr. Strawn died Saturday morning in a local nursing home.
Mr. Strawn was born October 8, 1922 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas and had retired from the US Postal Service after 21 years of service and had been a real estate appraiser. He was a member of the Longview Church of Christ.
Mr. Strawn was prededed in death by his wife: Janice, son: Charles and sister: Effie Vaughn.
He is survived by his daughter: Glenda Hunter and her husband Terrell of Ft. Worth; five 5 grandchildren and eleven 11 great grandchildren.
