Charlene Jordan's Obituary
Charlene Jordan, age 77 a long time resident of Longview, passed away June 24, 2012 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born December 31, 1934 in Shreveport, LA to Charlie and Rosie Boothe.
Charlene's life was taking care of children. For 35 years she was the Director of the Infant Nursery for the 1st Baptist Church, Longview.
Charlene is survived by her sons, Joe Jordan and his wife Lesley, Kent Jordon, Dale Jordan and his wife Paula, Carl Jordan and his wife Monica, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 cousins, Jim Boothe and his wife Nancy and Theron Boothe.
She is preceded in passing by her loving husband, Billy Joe Jordan.
There will be a time of visitation at Rader Funeral Home, Longview Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 6pm-8pm. Then a Celebration of Her Life the next day, Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Rader Funeral Home, Longview starting at 10am and will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Cary Hilliard. Private family interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Longview.
Honoring Charlene as Pall Bearers will be her grandchildren, Josh Jordan, Joe W. Jordan, Jr., Jacob Jordan, Daniel Jordan, David Jordan and Brandin Keen. In lieu of flowers suggested family donations may be made to the Children's Library of 1st Baptist Church, Longview.
