C.G. "Jim" Clark's Obituary
Funeral services for C.G. "Jim" Clark will be held at 2 PM Friday, February 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Elder Duane Amos officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Clark passed away Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 PM.
Jim was born in Butler, TN on September 15, 1936 to Clarence and Chelsie Fletcher Clark. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Jim was a cancer survivor and a member of AA with over 33 years of sobriety. He loved to hunt, fish and square dance and was a member of the Lucky Squares Square Dance Club. Jim loved helping people and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his two infant sons, Randy James and Harold Blaine; his parents; his brothers R. J. and Coy, and his sister, Janice Dugger.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years Bonita Clark; his brother Roy of Butler, TN; his sister-in-law Roberta Clark of Gray, TN; his sister-in-law Janice Davidson of Longview; his brother-in-law Duane Amos of Gilmer; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
