Celine DeClerk Adams
Mass of Christian burial will be held at Ten O?clock AM Monday September 17, 2007 at St. Paul?s Catholic Church with Father John Marconi officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul?s Cemetery in Pocahontas, Arkansas under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams passed away Wednesday September 12, 2007 in Longview.
She was born March 12, 1955 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She attended St. Paul?s Catholic School in Pocahontas. She earned her RN degree from Kilgore College and was pursuing a Masters Degree in Nursing form U.T. Tyler.
She was a Registered Nurse practicing at Good Shepherd Medical Center
And Select Specialty.
In addition to her on going nursing career, Celine volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Mother and Habitat for Humanity. Through the Episcopal Church she served as youth group leader, Daughters of the King, Order of St. Luke, Altar Guild, Lay Eucharistic Minister, and minister to the sick.
Celine?s gratefulness , love of others, and bright smile will always be remembered and missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ula Thennes DeClerk.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Adams of Longview, sons, , Zachary Adams of Houston, Tx; Aaron Adams and wife Heather and granddaughter Halina of Chicago, Ill., daughter Megan Adams of Amarillo, TX; she is also survived by her father, Dr. Thomas DeClerk and wife Kathleen, her brothers and sisters, Bernadine Cox, Susan Rice, Diane Burnham, Martha Dust, Clare Keltner, Charles DeClerk, Tom DeClerk and Celeste Adams.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home on Friday September 14, 2007 from 6pm until 7:30 pm.
