Celia Serna Linder's Obituary
Celia Serna Linder age 86 of Longview passed away August 29, 2014. She was born in Edinburg , Texas June 6, 1928 to Jose and Amelia Serna.
On June 18, 1977 Celia married John Edwards Linder, Sr and was a loving wife to him for 36 years until his passing in 2013. Celia enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, traveling abroad whenever time allowed and she adored her pet dogs who went everywhere with her on her adventures. Celia was a faithful member of the Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Longview and was active in various activities of the church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her step-children John Linder Jr. and Sandy Vanmersbergen and her husband John, her loving nephew James Bielanski and his wife Lydia, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Her dear husband John Edward Linder, Sr precedes her in passing.
There will be a time of visitation from 5pm-8pm Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Graveside services will be the next day, Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10 am at Rosewood Park in Longview.
