Cecil T. Evans' Obituary
Funeral services for Cecil T. Evans, age 75 of Henderson, will be held Monday October 1, 2012 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. John Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Evans was born January 31, 1937 in Hornbeck, La to Thomas Raney and Lula McInnis Evans, and died Thursday September 27, 2012 in a Tyler Hospital. He was a retired diesel mechanic having worked for the Schlumberger Company. Cecil was also a veteran having served both in the Army and Navy, and he was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Juanita Rivers, brothers Garvis Evans, Leon Evans, Gillis Smith, Lavon McAllister, and granddaughter Krystle Graham-Berry.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Evans of Henderson, sons, Keith Evans & wife Diane of San Antonio, and Dale Thomas Evans and wife Alana of Henderson, daughter Rhonda Evans Porter and husband Joe of Tatum, sister Quinda Voight of Lake Charles, LA, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Evans, Matthew Evans, Clinton Evans, Luke Evans, Ryan Stewart, and Devonta Haynes.
Visitation will be from 2pm until 5pm Sunday at the Funeral Home.
