Cecil "Hank" Smith's Obituary
Graveside services for Cecil L."Hank" Smith, age 76 of Henderson, will be held Tuesday July 16, 2013 at 10:00am at the Glenfawn Cemetery with Rev. Jason Taylor officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Rader Funeral home.
Hank was born October 8, 1936 in Rusk County to Robert Lewis and Mittie Lou Smith, and died Friday July 12, 2013 in Longview. He had worked for Kelly-Springfield and the Texas Highway Dept, and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He survived by his sons Greg Smith and wife Cindy of Rusk, Brad Smith of New Salem, and Chad Smith of Henderson, 3 brothers Orea Smith and wife Rena Kate of Pine Hill, Ray "Cotton" Smith and wife Myrna of Henderson, and Dean Smith and wife Linda of Henderson, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Other family members include Betsy Armstrong Smith, Melissa Smith Mims, and Jill Smith Bassett.
Visitation will be from 6pm – 8pm Monday at the funeral home.
