Services for Cathy Jo Townsend, 41, of Longview, formerly of Dallas will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 21, 2004 at the Alpine Church of Christ with Jerry McCaghren officiating. Honoring her requests, cremation arrangements are un-der the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road.
Cathy was born on November 26, 1962 in Winnfield, LA. to Charles and Joan Townsend. She passed away Wednesday morning, August 18, 2004 in a Longview hospital.
She graduated from High School in Brookings, S.D., before attending U.T. Tyler where she earned a degree in ac-counting. She was a Dallas resident for over 20 years, and owned and operated her own sales business.
Cathy is survived by her parents, brothers and sisters-in-law, David C. and Jana Townsend of Longview, Philip E. and Lisa Townsend of Longview, Stephen Townsend of Longview; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna L. and Mike Headrick of MS, Connie Miller of Ft. Worth; as well as numerous aunts, un-cles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family asks that memorials be made in honor of Cathy to: Susan B. Komen Cancer Center, 460 North Park Center, Dallas, Texas 75225.
