I've been a client of MTH for many years and interacted with Cathy many times and am so sad to read this news.
Cathy had a knack for making a person feel seen and heard, even in the totally non-personal world of internet customer support. There was a particular instance back in 2016 when there'd been an upgrade that was tough for my business and I ended up telling Cathy that I'd missed all the memos due to my Dad's stroke. The rest of the conversation had nothing to do with business. Cathy was so beautifully supportive and ended up sharing some of her own struggles. She then had the company send me a $50 gift card to the Cheesecake Factory.
I needed support that day and found it from a most unlikely place (customer support from my invoicing/scheduling service?!) - though from what I'm reading about Cathy, it wasn't unusual for her at all.
Sending all my best to Cathy's family and friends. Rest in Peace, Cathy Conrad.
