Services for Carroll G. Cox, 62, of Longview will be held at 2 pm, Monday, August 1, 2005 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Kenneth Mills officiating. Burial will follow at 4 PM in Turkey Creek Cemetery in Hughes Springs. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, July 31, 2005 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cox was born on June 6, 1943 in Linden to George Franklin and Mary Agnes Williams. She was a LVN and a homemaker.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Ann Rodgers; and brother, Glenn Williams. She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Cox of Longview; children, Jonny Hinojosa of Bryan, Kirt Cox of Texarkana, Cindy Bernal of Longview, James Oliver Ellis of Longview, Chris Cox of Cleburne, Christine Means of Ardmore, OK.; 13 grandchildren; brother, Robert Franklin Williams of Colorado Springs, CO.
